AgStar PLC is a Sri Lanka-based company that is engaged in the business of importing, blending and marketing of fertilizer products and agriculture machineries. The Company's segments include trading and non-trading. The trading segment includes items that are directly imported and sold without further processing. The non-trading segment includes items that are further processed before being sold. Its products include seeds, fertilizer, CropCare, pharma and agricultural technology (Agri Tech). The Company exports Ceylon tea, cinnamon, coconut and tropical fruits. It produces and markets seed paddy, other field crop seeds and vegetable seeds. Its organic fertilizers include Organic Compost, Fertilizer Compost and Bio Compost. Its crop-based fertilizers include tea fertilizer and fruit fertilizer mixtures. Its CropCare products include Allwin top, Netcote and Micro-Paddy. It has partnered with four brands that provide solutions to animal nutrition: NOREL, Lallemand, Perstorp and Kerry.
