Air Liquide SA said Friday that it is making a number of changes to the duties of members of its executive board, including the appointment of a new chief financial officer.

The French industrial-gases company said Jerome Pelletan will become CFO effective June 1, succeeding Fabienne Lecorvaisier. Mr. Pelletan was previously CFO for the Americas hub and the Latin America cluster.

Executive Vice President Ms. Lecorvaisier will take over responsibility for sustainable development and public and international affairs, effective July 1. Executive VP Francois Jackow will supervise innovation and technologies, also effective July 1.

Meanwhile, VP Matthieu Giard has been supervising and coordinating the company's hydrogen activities since Jan. 1, Air Liquide said.

The changes comes as Executive VP Guy Salzgeber is set to retire.
