Air Liquide SA on Tuesday said it signed a long-term agreement to supply one of the world's largest semiconductor manufacturers at a facility in Arizona.

Air Liquide said that in support of the agreement, it will invest almost $60 million to build, own and operate onsite plants and systems at a new manufacturing site in Phoenix.

The company said the deal will see it supply ultra-high-purity hydrogen, helium and carbon dioxide to the semiconductor manufacturer.

Operations and supply are expected to start in the second half of this year, Air Liquide said.
