AKWEL reported sales results for the second quarter and first half of 2021. For the first half, the company reported consolidated turnover of €487.6 million in the first half of 2021, up by 26.0% compared to the first half of the previous year. For the quarter, the company reported turnover of €214.3 million against €113.5 million a year ago.

AKWEL specializes in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of automotive equipment. The group's activity is organized around 5 families of product: - door opening and hinging mechanisms: door stops and hinges, locks, opening controls, foot switches, etc.; - fuel systems; - motor parts: air distributors, filtration and cooling systems, fuel injection ramps, etc.; - windshield washing electrical components and complete systems (Mecatronic); - closure systems. The group also develops an aftermarket activity. At the end 2022, the group had more than 40 production sites worldwide. Net sales (including intragroup) are distributed geographically as follows: France (25.9%), Europe and Africa (30.9%), North America (30.8%), South America (0.4%) and other (12%).
