Alcidion Group Limited announced an extension to its partnership with Leidos Australia for the delivery of a Health Knowledge Management system (HKM) for Defence. The extension is for the delivery of additional scope for the Health Knowledge Management project with new TCV to Alcidion of $8.4M over 57 months comprising implementation costs and an expanded subscription to the Miya Precision platform and adding in Miya Observations and Assessments. The extension to Alcidion's engagement with Defence will see Miya Precision deployed in additional settings in the ADF environment, specifically as the longitudinal health record in Deployed and Strategic Aeromedical Evacuation settings.

The agreement also increases the number of Miya Precision modules that will be used by Defence, with Miya Observations and Assessments now licensed for use in both Strategic Aeromedical Evacuation and Tactical Aeromedical Evacuation, providing a further validation of Alcidion's modular Electronic Patient Record (EPR) approach. Alcidion will also provide ongoing support and maintenance services to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of this additional scope of the project. The additional capability provided by Alcidion will ensure that critical, relevant medical information can be shared between Defence and its allies in the treatment of ADF members and that a consistent longitudinal health record is available to clinicians regardless of the setting in which they are operating.

Alcidion announced the initial contract with Leidos Australia on 3 December 2021, with a TCV of approximately $23.3 Million over 6 years. Incorporating this additional contract scope of $8.4 Million over 4.75 years, the TCV for all products /services to be provided by Alcidion is approximately $31.7 Million. Both contracts (initial contact plus this additional contract scope) provide the option for renewal for up to 15 years.
