Alfa, S. A. B. de C. V. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 96,873.03 million compared to MXN 74,801.3 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 4,862.83 million compared to MXN 1,992 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.99 compared to MXN 0.41 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.99 compared to MXN 0.41 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was MXN 182,900.53 million compared to MXN 143,719 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 9,184.91 million compared to MXN 5,119 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 1.87 compared to MXN 1.04 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 1.87 compared to MXN 1.04 a year ago.
