Alinma Bank reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported net profit of SAR 488 million against SAR 409 million a year ago. Net profit special commission income or investments was SAR 834 million against SAR 627 million a year ago. Net income increased due to the increase in total operating income by 29%, mainly due to the increase of income from Financing and investments in addition to gain on investments and exchange income. For the six months, the company reported net profit of SAR 910 million against SAR 800 million a year ago. Net profit special commission income or investments was SAR 1,649 million against SAR 1,238 million a year ago. Earnings per share were SAR 0.61 against SAR 0.54 a year ago.
