The international software company mgm technology partners GmbH (mgm) is growing constantly and readjusting its management board: As of September 1, mgm has 1000 employees worldwide, and there are also new management functions.

Beate Harr, head of finance since 2017, and Gertrud Rossa, head of human resources since 2012, have joined the management team, which now consists of ten people. In addition, Dr. Steffen Weber, who has been a member of mgm's Executive Board since 2008, was appointed by the shareholders as the second Managing Director.

By the end of 2016, mgm had reached the 500-employee mark, and most recently nearly 200 permanent positions have been added since January 2022. Now, at the traditional Welcome Day for new employees at the company's headquarters in Munich and at its newest location in Porto, Portugal, the HR team was able to celebrate passing the 1000 mark. Hamarz Mehmanesh, founder and CEO of mgm: 'This is a special milestone that I was very excited about. Nearly 30 years ago, my colleagues and I never thought we would be this big. It's a dream come true.'

The expansion of the management team already took place a few weeks earlier. Hamarz Mehmanesh: 'Beate Harr and Gertrud Rossa have shaped and advanced mgm with strength, competence and good ideas over many years. I am convinced that with their excellent expertise in finance and HR they will bring new perspectives to the mgm board and help shape the next steps in our growth.' The appointment of Steffen Weber as the second managing director will also help to share the formal responsibilities across the team. 'Steffen Weber has been successfully overseeing our acquisition activities for a long time and is very familiar with corporate law issues. His appointment is a logical step for more efficiency in managing all group activities,' says Hamarz Mehmanesh.

As a member of the Executive Board, I will also be committed and passionate about the ongoing adaptation of our financial processes and structures to our international growth and continued success.'

Gertrud Rossa has worked at mgm for more than 15 years in the HR department, which she played a key role in establishing and shaping as HR manager. 'It is wonderful to be able to play an active role in the management circle. It is particularly close to my heart to preserve our exceptionally personal corporate culture, which values and respects every single person in their individual way, as the mgm Group continues to develop,' says Gertrud Rossa. 'I will continue to devote a great deal of energy to professional HR work as an important success factor.'
