The board of directors of the International Alliance Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. informed the shareholders of the company and potential investors that, based on the preliminary assessment of the unaudited consolidated management accounts of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2019 and the information currently available to the Board, it is expected that the Group will record a consolidated net loss for the six months ended 30 June 2019 as compared to the net profit recorded for the corresponding period in 2018. Based on the information currently available, the Board considers that the expected net loss was mainly attributable to the approach to make impairment provisions for the finance lease receivables due to certain lessees' delay in repaying the principal and/or interest under the International Financial Reporting Standard 9 - Financial Instruments.
