AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) _ Allied Motion Technologies Inc. (AMOT) on Wednesday reported second-quarter profit of $4.6 million.

On a per-share basis, the Amherst, New York-based company said it had net income of 32 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 33 cents per share.

The motion control product maker posted revenue of $101.5 million in the period.

Allied Motion shares have declined 8% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $31.31, a climb of 22% in the last 12 months.
