Alro S.A. Reports Consolidated and Company Production Results for the Third Quarter and Nine Months Ended September 30, 2019

Alro S.A. reported consolidated and company production results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2019. For the quarter, on consolidated basis, the company reported Primary aluminium production of 72,173 tonnes against 68,742 tonnes a year ago. Processed aluminium production was 24,589 tonnes against 21,483 tonnes a year ago. Alumina production was 130,607 tonnes against 150,398 tonnes a year ago. Bauxite production was 410,448 tonnes against 439,079 tonnes a year ago.
For the nine months, on consolidated basis, the company reported Primary aluminium production of 214,840 tonnes against 213,704 tonnes a year ago. Processed aluminium production was 79,164 tonnes against 77,322 tonnes a year ago. Alumina production was 357,286 tonnes against 423,633 tonnes a year ago. Bauxite production was 1,527,688 tonnes against 1,570,687 tonnes a year ago.
For the quarter, on company basis, the company reported Primary aluminium production of 72,173 tonnes against 68,742 tonnes a year ago. Processed aluminium production was 19,027 tonnes against 15,364 tonnes a year ago.
For the nine months, on company basis, the company reported Primary aluminium production of 214,840 tonnes against 213,704 tonnes a year ago. Processed aluminium production was 62,938 tonnes against 59,175 tonnes a year ago.
Alro SA is a Romania-based company engaged in the manufacture of aluminum. The Companyâs portfolio includes primary aluminum products, such as wire rod, billets, slabs, foundry alloys and ingots, as well as processed aluminum products, such as aluminum plates from soft, medium and hard alloys, including non heat-treated plates and heat-treated plates, sheets, coils, tread plates, embossed sheets and coils, corrugated and heat treated sheets and extrusions. Through its subsidiaries, the Company is also involved in the production of alumina and in the bauxite mining. The Company operates four main production units, including anode facility, electrolytic facility, cast house and processing plant, as well as ancillary and service units, such as electric current transformation and rectification unit, the metallurgical repairs unit, and the pot and furnace repair unit, among others. As of June 30, 2011, the Companyâs subsidiaries included Alum SA, Conef SA and Vimetco Extrusion Srl.
