Premstätten, Austria and Munich, Germany (27 March 2024) - With the launch of the NIGHT BREAKER® LED GEN 2 H7, ams OSRAM, the market leader in automotive lighting, is for the first time providing an H7 retrofit lamp for low and high beam on motorcycles. The first LED H7 vehicle lamp for motorcycles approved for road traffic1from ams OSRAM impresses with its maximum light output, vibration resistance and long life. Motorcyclists can retrofit the lamp themselves and benefit from the new generation of optimized lighting.

The NIGHT BREAKER® LED GEN 2 H7 is ams OSRAM's first roadapproved1LED H7 vehicle lamp for motorcycles. At 6,000 Kelvin, it is up to 230 percent brighter2, reduces glare by up to 50 percent2and lasts up to 5 times longer3. The second generation of the H7 also scores highly in terms of sustainability. It consumes up to 55 percent less energy than traditional halogen lamps, making it an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative for low- and
high-beam headlamps. The NIGHT BREAKER® LED GEN 2 H7 is vibration-resistant, compact and easy to replace without the need for a mechanic.

Having the right vehicle lighting is extremely important, especially at night. High light output not only makes it easier to see the road ahead it also means you can be more easily seen by other road users. The modern and efficient light produced by the NIGHT BREAKER® LED GEN 2 H7 has a color temperature similar to that of natural daylight. It offers optimized brightness with reduced glare and thus ensures greater visibility and safety on the road for everyone involved.
