Osaka - Peach Aviation Limited (hereafter: Peach, Representative Director and CEO: Takeaki Mori) today (Feb. 19) launched a new flight between Tokyo (Narita) and Oita.

One round trip is operated every day.*

Peach flight MM560 departs from Oita Airport (Aircraft No.: JA09VA)

Following the launch of this service between Tokyo (Narita) and Oita, Peach now operate 12 domestic routes to/from both Narita and Kansai Airports. Accordingly, Narita and Kansai Airports are now Peach's two main hubs, and our domestic flight network now offers 32 routes in total when we include those serving other base airports.

Peach Representative Director and CEO Takeaki Mori commented, 'Today we launched our new service between Tokyo (Narita) and Oita. This is the sixth Peach route serving Kyushu from Narita Airport, in tandem with the Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Miyazaki, Kagoshima, and Amami routes, bringing Kyushu ever closer to those in the Tokyo Metropolis. Peach will continue operating flights as a 'flying train' from its base airports - namely New Chitose, Sendai, Narita, Chubu, Kansai, Fukuoka, and Naha - for even easier travel around Japan. Peach intends to expand its domestic network while prioritizing infection countermeasures, by providing easy travel at low fares to those who need transportation under these circumstances, to fulfill our role as a provider of public transport.'

Peach also offers a 'support option for COVID-19 virus testing by post' that enables potential travelers on all domestic flights departing from Narita and Kansai Airports to take a COVID-19 test at home. This option is available for anyone booking applicable fare types (Value Peach or Prime Peach). When a test is requested, a COVID-19 virus test can be received casually at home by post before boarding after submitting an application in the prescribed manner. In order to ensure 'an environment in which Peach passengers can travel with peace of mind' and that does not spread infection, we have established a system for those who need a test to casually receive one whenever necessary, and we proactively encourage passengers to take all possible measures against infection after receiving the test, before departure, while traveling, and upon arrival.

Going forward, Peach is committed to providing stable and easy travel with low fares as an air bridge

connecting various regions while thoroughly implementing infection countermeasures under the theme 'New Connections from the Sky.'

*Partial suspension from February 23 due to increasing numbers of new coronavirus cases.
