Peach Aviation: New Osaka (Kansai) ~ Amami Service.

Osaka- Today, Peach Aviation Limited ('Peach'; Representative Director and

CEO: Shinichi Inoue) has started service between Osaka (Kansai) and Amami. The service will be the only direct flight to and from Amami out of Kansai International Airport. There will be one roundtrip flight daily.

Today's ceremony at the arrival of the first flight from Osaka (Kansai) to Amami Airport was attended by Satoshi Mitazono, Governor of Kagoshima Prefecture, representatives from local governments and organizations, and Shinichi Inoue, Representative Director and CEO of Peach Aviation. The passengers were welcomed at the arrival gate with a lei with Amami Islands' famous raw sugar bars and a pink flower lei with Peach Aviation's logo.

During the ceremony, Shinichi Inoue, Representative Director and CEO of Peach Aviation greeted the attendees by saying, 'This is the only direct flight that connects Kansai with the Amami Islands, which hope to be inscribed as a Natural World Heritage site next summer. The Amami Islands and Kansai share a deep connection, with many people traveling between the two regions. I hope that you will use our Peach 'flying trains' to travel back to your hometowns, to visit relatives, and for many other purposes.'

Many passengers currently use Peach's flights between Tokyo (Narita) and Amami, which began operating on October 1, 2019. With this additional service between Osaka (Kansai) and Amami starting today, Peach can now offer flights to Amami for people who live in the Greater Tokyo Area and the Kansai region, as well as inbound travelers who use Narita and Kansai airports.

Before the first flight from Osaka(Kansai) to Amami Kenji Kakujo, Vice Chairman of Peach, joined the flight attendants and gave each passenger a Senshu towel suvenier, 'PEACH LIVE' and flight tag. They also gave each passenger a high-five as they boarded the plane.

On the other hand Peach start to service between Tokyo (Narita) and Ishigaki which also started today, Peach will now operate 40 routes in total, 21 of them domestic and 19 international. Last December, Peach operated 31 routes in total, 16 of them domestic and 15 international. Within a year, Peach added as many as nine routes to its network of 'flying trains.'

Going forward, Peach's goal is to support to convenient air travel, contribute to the revitalization of local communities, and become the leading Low-Cost Carrier in Asia.
