Anglesey Mining PLC - Base metals miner with operations in North Wales, Sweden and Canada - Confirms completion on Monday of first drill hole into the Northern Copper Zone, NCZ001, at its Parys Mountain project on the Isle of Anglesey. NCZ001 was modelled to intersect two potential sulphide mineralisation zones. Says interpreted Northern Copper Zone has, "as expected", varying sulphide accumulation levels. Nearest hole to NCZ001 intersected two zones with grades including 1.20% copper and 1.42% copper equivalent back in the 1970s. Lower zone of aforementioned sulphide accumulation "demonstrates areas with very high levels of chalcopyrite". Firm was however unable to complete the downhole Muon survey on NCZ001 due to a zone of broken ground.

Company expects first batch of samples to be delivered to the assay laboratory before the Christmas break, and anticipates results during the first quarter of 2024. Expects second drill hole, NCZ002, to be collared this week. Will conduct the Muon survey once NCZ002 is completed.
