ANIMA Holding: December 2020 net inflows

• Net inflows (excl. Class I insurance): €515 million
• Total AuM month-end over €194 billion

Milan, 8 January 2021

ANIMA Group recorded in December 2020 net inflows for around € 515 million (excluding Class I insurance), with the total amount year to date positive for around € 0.6 billion. The figure includes flows of institutional customers for over 600 million euros, which more than offset a still marginally negative trend for the retail segment

At the end of December, total asset under management of ANIMA Group reached the historical maximum being in excess of € 194 billion, approximately €9 billion higher than the amount at the end of 2019.

"Considering the exceptionality of the context that influenced so heavily the economy and the volatility of the markets, we close 2020 well beyond reasonable expectations with a positive net inflow of around 600 million euros and a consolidated net profit which - based on data processed so far - will be higher than the previous year", commented Alessandro Melzi d'Eril, CEO of ANIMA Holding. "2021 will certainly be challenging, but we are ready to face it both in terms of ordinary business, thanks to the quality of our management team and the support activities for our distribution partners, and in view of possible opportunities for the consolidation of the banking distribution in our country".
