Aperam reports net profit divided by three at 203 million euros for 2023, representing basic EPS of 2.81 euros, with EBITDA of 293 million euros, compared with nearly 1.08 billion in the previous year.

Sales of the stainless, electrical and specialty steel manufacturer fell by 19.2% to 6.59 billion euros, due to lower volumes and lower sales prices. Shipments fell by 4.8% to 2.2 million tons.

For its first quarter of 2024, Aperam's management expects its EBITDA to remain at a comparable level compared with the fourth quarter of 2023, and expects higher net financial debt.
