Apex International Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 3,152.77 million compared to TWD 3,971.37 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 161.31 million compared to net income of TWD 361.07 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.85 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 1.9 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.85 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 1.9 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 6,446.5 million compared to TWD 8,116.28 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 255.86 million compared to net income of TWD 775.01 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.35 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 4.08 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.35 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 4.08 a year ago.
Apex International Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of double-sided and multi-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs). Its PCBs are applied in electronic products, such as digital versatile disks (DVDs), liquid crystal display televisions (LCD TVs), fax machines, air conditioners, digital cameras, projectors, TV tuners, voltage converters and light-emitting diode (LED) lighting equipment; computer peripherals, such as DVD players, recordable machines, printers, power supplies, hard drives and motherboards; communication equipment, such as mobile phones, set-top boxes and satellite TV receivers, as well as automotive audio components. The Company distributes its products within Taiwan market and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia, Europe, the Americas and Africa.
