APRIL announced consolidated earnings results for the first half ended June 30, 2016. For the period, sales were EUR 430.2 million compared to EUR 401.7 million a year ago. Total income from ordinary activities was EUR 436.9 million compared to EUR 410.9 million a year ago. Current EBIT was EUR 37.1 million compared to EUR 43.7 million a year ago. EBIT was EUR 37.4 million compared to EUR 44.2 million a year ago. Net income from continuing operations was EUR 26.1 million compared to EUR 27.0 million a year ago. Net income was EUR 26.1 million compared to EUR 27.3 million a year ago. Earnings per share was EUR 0.64 compared to EUR 0.67 a year ago. Net cash flow from operating activities was EUR 3.6 million compared to EUR 24.7 million a year ago. Net investment in tangible and intangible assets was EUR 11.7 million compared to EUR 11.6 million a year ago.

For 2016, the Group had anticipated a decline in its current EBIT that could range between 8% and 12%.
