ARM Cement PLC announced that it expects to receive KES 14.1 billion in funding from CDC Group plc

ARM Cement Limited (NASE:ARM.O) announced that it will receive KES 14,100 million in an equity round of funding from new investor CDC Group plc on April 29, 2016. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and shareholders' approval. Pursuant to the transaction, the investor shall become single-largest shareholders of the company alongside the family of Pradeep Paunrana, Chief Executive Officer of the company.

As a part of the transaction, Ketso Gordhan of CDC Group plc will join the company's board of directors.
