On July 25th, Dr. Sachin Katti, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Network and Edge Division of Intel, and his group paid a visit to AsiaInfo. They had an in-depth exchange with Gao Nianshu, CEO and Executive Director of AsiaInfo, on software, hardware, and related business cooperation. Chen Wei, Vice President of Intel and General Manager of Network and Edge Division in China; Zhang Yu, Vice President of Intel and CTO of Network and Edge Division in China; Chen Wu, Senior Vice President of AsiaInfo; Dr. Ouyang Ye, CTO and Senior Vice President of AsiaInfo and IEEE Fellow, attended the exchange meeting. At the meeting, Intel awarded AsiaInfo the most advanced global strategic partner title.

At the Innovation Exhibition Center, Dr. Sachin Katti learned about AsiaInfo's innovation achievements in cloud networks, digital intelligence, and IT, as well as business practices in communication, energy sources, transportation, and other industries. He showed deep agreement with AsiaInfo's perfect product system and capabilities and its goal of "ranking higher in both products and services" and looked forward to deeper cooperation between the two parties.

In the discussion session, Gao Nianshu said that after 30 years of development, AsiaInfo was not only just a software enterprise but also had made extensive achievements in the research and development of software-and-hardware integrated products, empowering the digital and intelligent transformation of vertical industries, etc. AsiaInfo's 5G private network, edge intelligent all-in-one machine, database all-in-one machine, and other knock-out products had unique advantages and were widely recognized after the market inspection. AsiaInfo always adhered to a public and open cooperation attitude, and hoped to cooperate with Intel and other international partners to help both parties enlarge the market.
Dr. Sachin Katti was very pleased to visit AsiaInfo. As a global representative manufacturer in semiconductor and computing innovation, Intel is committed to joining hands with partners to promote the innovation and application of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, 5G, and edge intelligence. This exchange will help deepen the integration of advantages between the two sides in software and hardware and expand the depth and breadth of cooperation between the two sides in 5G private networks, edge intelligence, and privacy computing.
Dr. Ouyang Ye systematically introduced AsiaInfo's products, business systems, innovative practices, and cooperation achievements cooperated with Intel, and put forward suggestions on the cooperation direction in cloud network, digital intelligence, and IT. He proposed a special plan for adapting AsiaInfo TelcoGPT software products to Intel Gaudi2 in GPT field and adapting AsiaInfo 5G network products to Intel FlexRAN in the 5G cloud network field. Intel agreed and would actively support the follow-up special cooperation.
At the meeting, the two sides reached a strategic cooperation to optimize their innovation and business systems based on respective technology and product capabilities. Both parties also discussed the scope for cooperation in the industrial field, pan-artificial intelligence, GPT, 5G-A, 6G, etc.
