Atlas Estates Limited reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the six months ended 30 June 2018. For the six months, the company reported revenues of EUR 28,842,000 against EUR 15,219,000 a year ago. Profit from operations was EUR 9,111,000 against loss of EUR 1,245,000 a year ago. Profit before taxation was EUR 5,189,000 against EUR 477,000 a year ago. Profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent was EUR 3,881,000 or 8.3 cents per basic and diluted share against EUR 670,000 or 1.4 cents per basic and diluted share a year ago. The significant change of the results was mainly a joint effect of: EUR 3.7 million gross profit realised on completion of sales in the second stage of Apartamenty przy Krasiskiego development project in Warsaw in the first half of 2018, a change in valuation of investment property (Atlas Tower, former name: Millennium Plaza) from a decrease of EUR 4.3 million recorded in the first half of 2017 to increase of EUR 2.5 million recorded in the first half of 2018, offset by: movements in the foreign currency exchange differences from gain of EUR 2.9 million for the first half of 2017 to loss of EUR 1.9 million for the first half of 2018 mainly as a result of the appreciation of the local currencies in the first half of 2017 as compared to depreciation of PLN by 5% and HUF by 6% in the first half of 2018. Net cash from operating activities was EUR 5,359,000 against EUR 5,038,000 a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was EUR 87,000 against EUR 143,000 a year ago.
