Atlas Mara Limited (LSE:ATMA) agreed to acquire additional 1% stake in Union Bank of Nigeria Plc (NGSE:UBN) for NGN 2.1 billion on June 26, 2018. Under the terms of consideration, Atlas will issue 2.4 million common stock for acquisition of 281 million common stock of Union Bank. After acquisition, direct and indirect shareholding of Atlas in Union Bank will increase to 49% from 48%.
