In this newly created role, Ms. Kaplan will be responsible for overall program management, as well as company-wide process optimization. Ms. Kaplan has more than 25 years of experience in research and development and operations strategy. She has served in similar executive positions with several companies including PowerVision, Invuity and Sadra Medical. She has also held director positions at Juniper Networks and Intuitive Surgical and was a principal consultant with Pittiglio Rabin Todd & McGrath.

Prior to joining Audience, Ms. Kaplan was an independent management consultant specializing in providing strategic guidance to both established and startup medical device and other high tech companies. She holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University plus a dual MBA in Management of Technology and Operations Management from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley.
