Audioboom Group PLC said Wednesday that it has partnered with Canada's Rogers Sports & Media to expand its advertising sales operation to Canada, and said it is launching a new slate of original content this fall.
The U.K.-based podcast company said the partnership with Rogers follows a similar strategic partnership with the Australian Radio Network and seeks to enable a more efficient monetization of its content. Canada is Audioboom's fourth biggest market for podcast consumption, the company said.
Shares in Audioboom at 0802 GMT were up 1.4% at 182.50 pence.
