Austin Engineering Limited announced it is expanding its North American operations into Canada and has signed a ten-year lease on a four-acre site with 23,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities in Fort McMurray, Alberta. The Company's recently completed strategic review of global operations supported focusing on growth opportunities in North America while improving overall cost competitiveness, including through production and operational efficiency. A Canada base will improve product delivery logistics, cutting travel times and significant costs. The Canadian market represents the potential for significant growth across Austin's full range of products and services and establishing a local operation will allow Austin to pursue business development opportunities in the region. Austin expects to commence operations in November 2021. Several staff are already stationed in the region, which will facilitate the rapid implementation of operations.
