Australis Seafoods SA is a Chilean company principally engaged in the farmed salmon production and exportation. The Company's activities are structured in two business segments: cultivation of freshwater salmon and cultivation of salmon and trout in sea water. The Company is a parent of Australis Seafoods Group (Grupo ASF). Its principal subsidiaries are Landcatch Chile SA, specialized in the genetic development and salmon roe production, as well as fish breeding and fattening in fresh water; and Australis Mar SA, whose main activities comprise fish fattening in sea water, as well as marketing and exportation. The Company's products are exported mainly to the United States, Japan and several South American and European countries. In March 2013, the Company acquired a 100% stake in Congeledos y Conservas Fitz Roy SA.
