AutoCanada Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was CAD 1,623.95 million compared to CAD 1,206.75 million a year ago. Net income was CAD 31.53 million compared to CAD 37.52 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CAD 1.22 compared to CAD 1.37 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was CAD 1.16 compared to CAD 1.27 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was CAD 4,652.41 million compared to CAD 3,457.63 million a year ago. Net income was CAD 71.69 million compared to CAD 94.4 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CAD 2.72 compared to CAD 3.46 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was CAD 2.56 compared to CAD 3.22 a year ago.
AutoCanada Inc. is a Canada-based multi-location franchised automobile dealership company. The Company offers a diversified range of automotive products and services, including new vehicles, used vehicles, vehicle leasing, vehicle parts, vehicle maintenance and collision repair services, extended service contracts, vehicle protection products, after-market products and auction services.
