On June 16, 20201, Sol Barer notified the Board of Directors of Cerecor Inc., that he resigned from the Board, effective June 15, 2021. Dr. Barer's resignation was not related to any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company's operations, policies or practices. Dr. Barer will serve as a special advisor to the Board and the Company for a period of at least one year, during which he will serve on the Company's Strategic Advisory Board. Following Dr. Barer's resignation, the Board appointed Michael Cola, who is also the Company's Chief Executive Officer, as Chairman of the Board and Dr. Suzanne Bruhn as the Lead Independent Director of the Board.
