Babcock appoints new Head of Investor RelationsBabcock International (Babcock) is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Gollan as Head of Investor Relations. Andrew will join the business on 1 December 2021 and will take up the role after our Interim Results Announcement on 7 December, succeeding Simon McGough who is leaving the Group to take up a new position at Wood Group.
Andrew brings extensive financial markets and sector experience from a 20-year career as an equity analyst specialising in aerospace and defence. For the last eight years, Andrew has led the aerospace and defence research team at the German investment bank Berenberg, having previously built successful aerospace, defence and capital goods franchises at Numis Securities, Investec and ING Charterhouse. He is a Chartered Accountant with an BA in accounting & finance.
David Mellors, CFO of Babcock, said: "Andrew's expertise within aerospace and defence, and more than 20 years in the City will be a great asset to the company and make him well qualified to lead our investor relations team. We are excited to welcome Andrew to Babcock and look forward to working with him."
