Wisdom (Fujian) Motor Company Limited announced that it will receive funding on May 9, 2022. The transaction will include participation from new investor Ballard Power Systems Inc. along with Templewater Limited and Bravo Transport Services Limited. As a part of the transaction Alfred Wong of Ballard Power Systems Inc. will join board seat.
The transaction is expected to close in second quarter of 2022, subject to completion of regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
