MATERIAL FACT

According to art. 157, paragraph 4th of Law 6,404, dated December 15th, 1976, and to CVM (Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission) Regulation 44, dated August 23rd, 2021, Banco do Brasil S.A. (BB), in addition to the Material Fact of 12/30/2022, announces that the Mr. President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, in accordance to Banco do Brasil's Bylaws Article 24, item I, appointed, through Decree dated 01/13/2023, published on 01/16/2023 in the Official Gazette of the Federal Government on Issue: 11, section: 2, page 1, Mrs. Tarciana Paula Gomes Medeiros for the position as Banco do Brasil's Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Fausto de Andrade Ribeiro, current CEO, will hold his position until 01/15/2023 and the investiture of Mrs. Tarciana Paula Gomes Medeiros will be held on Monday, 01/16/2023.

Tarciana Medeiros, 44 years old, holds a degree in Business Management and post-graduations in Administration, Business and Marketing; and in Leadership, Innovation and Management. She has been an employee of Banco do Brasil for 22 years. Since 2021, she has held the position of Executive Manager in SME and Individuals Customers Directorship, responsible for customer relationship cycles. In 2019, she became an executive in the Loans Solutions for Individuals Directorship. In 2018, she assumed the Commercial Executive Superintendence of

1. Seguros. In 2017, she was qualified by the BB Executive Professional Ascension Program and between 2015 and 2017, she led the Commercial Superintendence of BB Seguros, where she developed strategic business models.
