BBK, Bahrain's pioneer in retail and commercial banking, has concluded its summer training program to qualify a number of Bahraini summer interns in spheres of digitalization, especially digital transformation in the financial and banking industry.

This year, BBK's internship training program provided participants with theoretical and practical training, as well as the basic knowledge and abilities required to deal effectively with digital age tools, with special focus on electronic banking services and digital products and transactions, said Mrs. Najwa Al Ahmed, Head of Human Resources & Training Department.

"This year's program for fresh graduates focused on digitization and its output highlights Bahraini cadres who have illustrated their full commitment to attend the program and make the most of the training." she added

Mrs. Al Ahmed also expressed BBK's pride in implementing specialized training program aimed at national talents to train and qualify them through quality courses and experienced trainers, and providing the opportunity for the distinguished among them to join an integrated practical program in which they go through a real life experience in an attractive working environment that encourages creativity and innovation.

"We reaffirm our unwavering conviction in the potential of national competencies to continue to lead the BBK's continuing journey of giving an excellence for the next 50 years through this initiative," Mrs. Al Ahmed stated.

"We are proud to maintain one of the highest Bahrainization rates in financial and banking institutions in Bahrain, in addition to our active contribution to the strategy for developing the Financial Services 2022-2026 announced by the Central Bank of Bahrain, and ensuring the leadership of BBK at the forefront of financial and banking institutions that provide customers with digital banking services that keep pace with the bank's aspirations."
