The highly anticipated Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway officially started operation at 15:00 (Beijing Time) on June 30. As one of the first commercial banks that support the online purchase of train tickets, Bank of China has provided comprehensive banking services exclusively for the 14 stations along the railway line including door-to-door payment collection, provision of changes, and settlement of funds.

Passing through three municipalities and four provinces and linking the economic corridor between Beijing and Shanghai, the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway is characterized by the longest distance, biggest investment and highest construction standard among all the high-speed railway projects since the founding of the People's Republic of China, providing more convenience and material benefit for the passengers.
