Bank of Commerce Holdings and Redding Bank of Commerce Announces Management Changes, Effective December 1, 2014

Bank of Commerce Holdings (Company) announced the appointment of James A. Sundquist, age 60, as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company and its bank subsidiary, Redding Bank of Commerce (Bank), to be effective December 1, 2014. In connection with the appointment of Mr. Sundquist as Chief Financial Officer of the Company and the Bank, the Company announced that Samuel D. Jimenez, who has served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer of the Company and the Bank since December 19, 2013, shall continue to serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company and the Bank. Mr. Sundquist has over 30 years of banking experience.

Most recently, Mr. Sundquist served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Placer Sierra Bank from April 2000 to October 2007. Mr. Sundquist was retired from 2007 until his appointment as Chief Financial Officer of the Company and the Bank.

The Company's principal business is to serve as a holding company for Redding Bank of Commerce (Bank), which operates under two separate names (Redding Bank of Commerce and Sacramento Bank of Commerce). The Bank operates over four full service facilities in two diverse markets in Northern California. The Bank provides a range of financial services and products for business and retail customers. Its principal products include various types of accounts, such as checking, interest-bearing checking, savings, certificate of deposit and money market deposit. It also offers sweep arrangements, commercial loans, construction loans, term loans, safe deposit boxes and electronic banking services. The primary focus of the Bank is to provide banking and related services to small and mid-sized businesses and not-for-profit organizations, as well as banking services for consumers, primarily business owners and their employees.
