For the six months ended on March 31, NAV total return is negative 2.1%, compared to the benchmark, the MSCI Emerging Markets EMEA index, which returns negative 5.5%. Looking ahead, Barings says equity markets are likely to remain volatile over the coming months as the "path for inflation and interest rates remains uncertain".
