Tomer Raved appointed Chairman of the Bezeq Group

• Raved will assume his position at the beginning of January and will serve as chairman of the board of directors of Bezeq and its subsidiaries

Bezeq's board of directors approved today the appointment of Tomer Raved as chairman of the boards of directors of Bezeq and its subsidiaries: Pelephone, yes , Bezeq International, and Bezeq Online. Raved will take office on January 1, 2024, and will replace Gil Sharon, who recently announced his resignation after three years in the position.

Tomer (39) is CEO of BCom, the controlling owner of the Bezeq Group, and has been an active director in Bezeq for the last four years. In his position, he worked closely with the Bezeq Group's management in outlining strategy and was active in investor and government relations. Previously, Raved served as director and vice president at Royal Bank of Canada in the United States, and in this position, he led the transaction for the acquisition of control in Bezeq by Searchlight Capital Partners and the Fuhrer family. Prior to that, he was an investment banker at UBS investment bank in the United States, and for more than a decade, he gained experience providing consulting and support for boards of directors of tech and communication companies (including Google, Disney, Verizon, AT&T, Snapchat and others). Raved has a bachelor's degree in law and economics from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from NYU, majoring in finance.
