Blue Star Foods will provide meals to the U.S. military through a supply agreement to be rolled out to 14 military bases over the next few months.

Shares jumped 44% to 14 cents in morning trading. However, the stock has fallen about 96% in the past 12 months.

The meal solutions company on Wednesday said that the deal facilitates the provision of premium products distributed under a service-disabled veteran-owned small business called Eagle Rising.

The strategic partnership will be supported by the recently established master service agreement Blue Star Foods signed with an unnamed $20 million seafood business.

The company didn't disclose financial details of the deal with the U.S. military.
