Boozt has signed an agreement to acquire the privately-owned Swedish fashion brand Svea and as such continues to strengthen its position as the modern Nordic department store.
"Svea is a well-known and popular brand that has been a part of our assortment for a long time. We see great potential to leverage our scale and use the core competencies we have within Boozt to once again make Svea a strong Nordic brand" says Hermann Haraldsson, Co-Founder & CEO at Boozt.
The clothes are designed and produced with a focus on made-to-last quality and timeless styles which aligns well with the Boozt Care-For sustainability strategy. The brand operates in the segment referred to as slow fashion, producing two high-quality collections per year. Svea has been a part of the Boozt brand portfolio since 2017 and is sold on Boozt.com and Booztlet.com.
"Thank you Svea for 24 years of successes and challenges that encouraged us to keep learning and developing. We have had to be even stronger and more persistent than we ever thought possible. It is now time for Svea to enter the big arena lead by Boozt." says Kiki Wallmansson, CEO at Svea
Svea is a Swedish fashion brand founded in 1998 that is well-known for its Scandinavian streetwear. Based in the textile town of Borås, Sweden, the brand offers a wide selection of clothes, accessories and shoes. The products are sold to customers in Europe through selected retailers as well as the brands own website and physical stores. Boozt acquires the brand from the founder Kiki Wallmansson.
