Bosch Limited announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the year, the company announced total revenue was INR 102,202 million compared to INR 103,881.9 million a year ago. Net income was INR 4,819.8 million compared to INR 6,495.3 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was INR 163.4 compared to INR 220.3 a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 163.4 compared to INR 198.2 a year ago. For the quarter, total revenue was INR 33,329.9 million compared to INR 23,772.8 million a year ago. Net income was INR 4,831.5 million compared to INR 809.1 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was INR 163.8 compared to INR 27.4 a year ago.
Bosch is an industrial group that is organized around two product families:
- automotive components and accessories (85.3% of net sales): injection systems, chassis control systems, propulsion systems, generators, mechatronic components and systems, multimedia systems, etc.;
- other (14.7%): mass market products (electric tools and appliances), Industrial equipment (control and industrial automation systems, packaging systems, etc.), and building solutions (heating systems, detection, access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection systems, etc.). In addition, the group offers solar energy solutions.
At the end of March 2018, Bosch has 8 production sites located in India.
