FOSHAN, China (AP) _ Bright Scholar Education Holdings Ltd. (BEDU) on Tuesday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $6.7 million.

On a per-share basis, the Foshan, China-based company said it had profit of 6 cents. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and stock option expense, were 8 cents per share.

The provider of international education to Chinese students posted revenue of $125.5 million in the period.

Bright Scholar expects full-year revenue in the range of $482.1 million to $496.4 million.

Bright Scholar shares have declined 27% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $6.45, a decrease of 46% in the last 12 months.
