Brookfield Renewable Partners L.P. (TSX:BEP.UN) announces a share repurchase program. Under the normal course issuer bid, the company will repurchase up to 13,740,072 units, representing 5% of its issued share capital. All the units acquired under the bid will be cancelled.
The bid will terminate on the earliest of the date on which the maximum purchase limit under the bid has been reached or December 15, 2021. As on December 11, 2020, company had 274,801,453 units issued and outstanding.
