Calibre Group Ltd ('Calibre') is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a $149M contract by MACH Energy Australia Pty Ltd ('MACH Energy') as part of a Calibre DRA Joint Venture (comprising G&S Engineering Services Pty Ltd and DRA Pacific Pty Ltd (50/50 JV)) to design and construct a new coal handling and preparation plant (CHPP) and train load out (TLO) facility at MACH Energy's Mount Pleasant Operation in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales.

Early works have commenced, with onsite works due to start on 20 March 2017. It is anticipated that the project will be completed by mid-2018. At its construction peak, it is anticipated there will be approximately 160 Calibre DRA team members working on site.

Peter Massey, Group Managing Director and CEO of Calibre said he was excited at the prospect of working with MACH Energy.
