Camel Group Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CNY 1,700.512 million compared to CNY 2,264.065 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 88.069 million compared to CNY 196.153 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 65.263 million compared to CNY 159.767 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.08 compared to CNY 0.19 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.08 compared to CNY 0.18 a year ago.
Camel Group Co., Ltd. is a China-based company principally engaged in the research, development, manufacture and sales of storage batteries. The Company's main products include lead-acid batteries, which are applied in vehicle starting, electric road vehicle traction and electric bicycle fields, among others. The Company's other products include regenerated lead, electrolytic lead, alloyed lead, liquid sulfuric acid and recycled plastics. The Company operates businesses in both domestic and overseas markets.
