Canoe U.S. Strategic Yield Advantaged Fund (the Fund), formerly O'Leary U.S. Strategic Yield Advantaged Fund, is a Canada-based closed-end fund. The Fund's investment objectives are to provide unitholders with monthly tax-advantaged distributions consisting initially primarily of returns of capital, to maximize total return for unitholders, and to preserve capital. The Fund invests in common equity, fixed rate corporate bonds, fixed to floating rate bonds and floating rate debt, among others. The Fund invests in various sectors, such as financials, healthcare, consumer staples, industrials, telecommunication services, materials, utilities, energy, pipelines, information technology and consumer discretionary. To achieve its investment objectives, the Fund provides investors with exposure to a portfolio of income generating equity and debt securities.
