For the six months, the company reported net sales of JPY 302,856 million, operating income of JPY 13,418 million, ordinary income of JPY 14,348 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 9,436 million or JPY 72.78 per basic share as compared to net sales of JPY 300,523 million, operating income of JPY 9,664 million, ordinary income of JPY 10,996 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 7,436 million or JPY 57.35 per basic share for the same period a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was JPY 72.77.
The company provided consolidated earnings guidance for the full year ending December 31, 2019.
