Carbon Black announced the company is strengthening its commitment to the Japanese market by adding in-country hosting to help organizations to meet data privacy requirements. The ability to use the Cb Predictive Security Cloud (PSC) in Japan is the latest in a series of Carbon Black’s investments in the region, which also includes the introduction of a new Japanese User Group. The PSC is an endpoint security platform built on an extensive, cloud-scalable architecture, which consolidates prevention, detection, response, threat hunting and managed services into a single platform with a single agent and single console. The PSC is unique in its continuous collection of unfiltered data which enables protection against both new and unknown attacks, while providing comprehensive visibility into an attack. In addition to its expanded presence in Asia-Pacific, Carbon Black will launch its first user group in Japan, hosted by Carbon Black’s CEO, Patrick Morley. The group will focus on building a community of security professionals to collaborate on the many issues they face, including expanding the security talent pool, identifying the latest attack trends, and developing best practices for adopting and implementing security technologies. Carbon Black opened its Tokyo office 18 months ago, and also has Asia-Pacific offices in Singapore and Sydney. Carbon Black customers in Japan include Seiko Epson and GEO Holdings, among others.
