CBK Holdings Limited provided earnings guidance for the nine months ended December 31, 2017. After preliminary review by the company’s management of the unaudited management accounts of the Group and assessment of the information currently available, the board of directors of the company announced that the Group is expected to record a loss after tax not exceeding HKD 8.5 million for the nine months ended December 31, 2017 as compared with a profit after tax of approximately HKD 2.0 million for the nine months ended December 31, 2016. The loss-making position for the Period was mainly attributable to the closures of Cheung Sha Wan restaurant and Yuen Long restaurant in July 2016 and October 2016, respectively, as mentioned in the prospectus of the company dated January 27, 2017 and the decrease in revenue from existing restaurants as affected by the sluggish economy.
