Congratulations to the Aurion team on achieving two major milestones for Quality Standards. One of the key goals that Aurion set themselves in growing the business was to focus on quality of delivery at every step of every process. In pursuit of this goal over the last 12 months Aurion have put a huge effort into major system and process changes across every facet of the delivery chain.

Last week, Aurion achieved ASAE3402 Certification, the Australian Standard which defines what an auditor must employ in order to assess the internal controls of a service organisation. This certification is not quick or easy to achieve and is particularly vital to the CFOs of the businesses that Aurion work for and how they approach their own financial year-end audits.

In mid-2014, Aurion partnered with Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) to conduct a readiness review to assess Aurion's ability to provide clients with fully compliant reporting controls in line with the standard. PwC provided a comprehensive set of recommendations and Aurion have worked in partnership to refine controls in the areas of implementation, configuration changes, payroll transaction processing, payroll data uploads, pay events cycle finalisation (Pay Run), pay run reporting, disbursements and IT general controls.

This process successfully completed last week and the Service Organisation Controls Report (Type 1) for BPO Service customers is now available with an effective date of 1 January 2015. Obtaining this standard ensures comfort for Aurion's existing BPO customers on the quality of service and will help us to attract new large customers to our Payroll BPO service.

Aurion also passed its ISO 9001:2008 quality audit without a single non-conformance issue being raised which is a great result.
