The board of directors of Chanjet Information Technology Company Limited announces that Mr. You Hongtao ("Mr. You") has tendered his resignation to the Board as secretary to the Board, joint company secretary and vice president of the Company with effect from 14 September 2021 in order to devote more time to handle other matters. Mr. You has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there is no matter relating to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Stock Exchange") and the shareholders of the Company (the "Shareholders"). As a result of Mr. You's resignation as the secretary to the Board and a joint company secretary of the Company, the Board hereby further announces that Ms. Bao Jie ("Ms. Bao") has been appointed as secretary to the Board and a joint company secretary of the Company with effect from 14 September 2021 while Mr. Ngai Wai Fung ("Mr. Ngai") remains as the other joint company secretary of the Company. Ms. Bao, aged 41, is currently the manager of the securities department of the Company. Ms. Bao graduated from Renmin University of China in July 2002 with a bachelor's degree in history. Ms. Bao joined the Company since August 2014 as the manager of the securities department, during which she has worked closely with Mr. You and Mr. Ngai, and has been extensively involved in major corporate governance matters of the Company. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Bao worked in China National Materials Group Corporation from July 2002 to August 2007, and served as the deputy director of the office of the board of directors of China National Materials Company Limited from August 2007 to August 2014. Mr. Ngai, a joint company secretary of the Company, is currently serving as the director and chief executive officer of SWCS Corporate Services Group (Hong Kong) Limited, a professional services provider specializing in corporate services, and has over 30 years of experience in corporate secretarial field. Mr. Ngai obtained a master's degree in business administration from Andrews University of the United States, a bachelor's degree (Honours) in Law from the University of Wolverhampton, the United Kingdom, a master's degree in corporate finance from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a doctoral degree in economics (majoring in finance) from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
